Schjonneman, Hazel (Marriage - 1 Jan. 1935)
A very pretty wedding took place at the Unity Lutheran church Tuesday, Jan. 1, 1935, at 12:00, noon, Rev. J. A. Olson reading the marriage ceremony, when Miss Hazel Schjonneman, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Schjonneman, became the bride of Mr. Edwin Witte, son of Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Witte of Colby. Fae Cook acted as bridesmaid and the groom was attended by Russel Andrews.
The bride was attired in a beautiful dress of dark wine transparent velvet and her bouquet consisted of talisman roses. The bridesmaid’s dress was also of dark wine transparent velvet and her shoulder bouquet consisted of roses.
A wedding dinner was served at the Hotel Charles at Marshfield. The newlyweds left on a wedding trip to Chicago and Milwaukee and will be at home in Colby, Wis., after Feb. 1.
