The junior visited in Eau Claire over Sunday.

Mrs. M. C. and Miss Gertie Ring visited in Eau Claire Saturday.

W. A. Lantz, of the Times, visited his parents at Longwood last Thursday.

Mrs. Henry Myers, of Neillsville, has been the guest of Mrs. Manville and Marion Manville for a week.

We acknowledge the receipt of the catalogue of the State University for the Academic year of ’86 and ’87.

O. G. Tripp, wife and daughters Nora and Marion, started for Tavares, Florida last night, where they will spend the winter.

Mrs. Geo. Blakeslee and child arrived in the city yesterday. George now smiles all over. Gilbert Johnson’s store on the north side.

R. J. MacBride, and Mrs. B. F. French and daughter, of this city, where guests at the International hotel in La Crosse last week Wednesday.

H. Schildhauer, the newly elected register of deeds, has rented a house in this city, and will move here from Colby about the middle of the month. Mr. S. is a fine musician, and the band boys will be pleased to have him here.

Geo. Sontag, who has been clerking at Sniteman’s for the past two years, slipped and fell on the ice Thursday, breaking an arm between the wrist and elbow. It will lay George up for some time, and the accident is made more unfortunate coming right upon the eve of the holiday trade.
