Neff, Albertus L. #2 (17 MAR 1821 - 24 JUN 1900)
A. L. Neff died at his home in Levis (Clark Co., Wis.), Sunday at 5 o’clock A.M. of Bright’s disease.
Deceased was one of the oldest settlers in Clark County, having lived in the county about thirty-five years. He leaves a wife, two daughters, Mrs. C.C. Holliday of Minneapolis and Miss Angie Neff, a son, Dorr A. Neff, and an adopted son. He was highly respected man, of active intellect, and excellent character. He was married twice, the children being those of the first wife, who died while the children were young.
The funeral services were held at the house, Rev. Brown, of Marshfield, officiating. Interment in Neillsville Cemetery.
