Harriman, James (1801? - 18 Jan. 1887)

Harriman - In this city, Jan. 18th, 1887, James Harriman, aged 86 years, and 10 months.

The deceased had eight children: James W. Harriman, and Mrs. Elizabeth Spencer, of Necedah; Albert Harriman, of Irving; Mrs. Mary Egbert and Mrs. Nellie Coggins, of this city; Mrs. J. W. St. John, of Volga, Dakota; Mrs. Julia Curry, of Canada, and Mrs. Sarah Summerside, of Harold, Dakota. All these children, together with his wife, survive him. Mr. Harriman was a kind husband and father, and was honored by his neighbors for his upright character. The funeral services were held at the Presbyterian Church, Revs. McManus and Hendren officiating.
