Way, Elsie #2 (17 MAR 1875 - 7 NOV 1900)

Mrs. J.P. Way, formerly Elsie Huntzicker, died Nov. 7, 1900, at Anaconda, B.C. Deceased was the adopted daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Geo. Huntzicker, of the town of Eaton (Clark Co., Wis.). Elsie, as she was familiarly known here, was born in the town of Withee (Clark Co.) Mar. 17, 1875. Her girlhood days were spent in this city, where she was well known and beloved by all for her most amiable disposition and sunny temperament for one who had known so much of suffering. She lived here until four years ago, when she went with Mr. and Mrs. Huntzicker to Eaton. Soon afterward she went to visit her father in British Columbia, where she met and was married to Mr. J.P. Way.

She died of consumption after confinement, her child only a few days. She began to mend, but could not gain strength to recover.
