Jens, Violet (Marriage - 29 May 1935)
Miss Violet Jens, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harry Jens of Curtiss, and Paul Kersten, son of Mr. and Mrs. G. C. Kersten of Colby, were quietly married at the rectory of St. Augustin’s Catholic church at Milwaukee Wednesday afternoon, May 29th, Rev. L. Pulchard reading the marriage ceremony. The couple was attended by Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Kersten of Milwaukee, brother and sister in law of the groom. On Saturday evening, a free wedding dance was given at Wiedenhoeft’s park.
Mr. and Mrs. Kersten will make their home in Colby where the former is time keeper for the Libby, McNeal & Libby Canning Co.
