Dietrich, Bernice (Marriage - 26 June 1935)
A very pretty wedding took place at St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran church at Green Grove Wednesday, June 26, Rev. M. C. Goetsch reading the marriage ceremony when Miss Bernice Dietrich, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Paul Woik, became the bride of Mr. Theodore Miller, son of Mr. and Mrs. John Miller. Ruth Sommer acted as bridesmaid and Grace Dietrich was maid of honor. The groom was attended by his brother, Walter Miller, and his cousin, Wilbert Miller.
The bride was attired in a becoming dress of white satin and her shower bouquet consisted of roses, sweet peas and snapdragons. Miss Sommer wore a dress of shell pink satin and her bouquet consisted of roses and sweet peas. The maid of honor wore a dress of yellow satin and her bouquet also consisted of roses and sweet peas.
A reception was held at the home of the bride’s parents, the home being nicely decorated in white, pink and yellow for the occasion.
The newlyweds will make a wedding trip to Milwaukee and will be at home after July 1 with the groom’s parents.
