McMahon, Mary (? - 29 Sept. 1887)
McMahon - On Thursday morning, Sept. 29, in this village of Thorp, Mary, wife of May McMahon, in the 25th year of her age.
Mrs. McMahon was well known here and esteemed by all who knew her. She had taken a trip up to Thorp to visit relatives, and while there was attacked with typhoid fever and was sick only about a week. She leaves a little child four months old. Her death was a great shock to us all, and no one but those who suffered such grief can realize the mental suffering of Mr. McMahon so suddenly left alone with a little motherless baby, though many willing hearts and hands are ready to do all that can be done.
She was brought to this place for burial. The funeral services were conducted by Rev. G. C. Andrews.
