Miss Olive Gindt, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Gindt of Edson (Chippewa Co., Wis.), and Joseph Micke, son of Mr. and Mrs. Barney Micke of the town of Worden (Clark Co., Wis.), were united in the holy bonds of matrimony at 8:30 a.m., June 14, 1937, at the Sacred Heart Church at Edson, Rev. Sylvester Frye officiating.
The bride was attired in a dress of Chiffon Georgette and satin, with train and wore a veil with cape effect and coronation style. She carried a prayer book bouquet. Bridesmaids were Mildred Micke and Marie Gindt, and maid of honor, Julia Gindt, all wearing white lace over taffeta, carrying flowers of salmon pink and white carnations.
The groom’s attendants were Edward Micke and Herman Gindt. They and the groom wore blue suits.
A reception was held at the home of the bride’s parents.
The newlyweds took a short honeymoon and will take possession of the groom’s father’s farm in the town of Worden upon their return.
