Mr. Louis Gulcynski, son of Mrs. Ig. Grobelny of this village (Thorp, Clark Co., Wis.), and Miss Wanda Kmieciak, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Casimer Kmieciak of Stanley, were united in marriage by Rev. Wallis at St. Mary’s Church, Stanley, at nine o’clock Tuesday morning last.
The bride wore a white lace gown with train And coronation style veil. The bridesmaid, Helen Kmieciak, wore a yellow embroidered dress over satin. Michael Lewandowski was best man. Irene Kmieciak, as maid of honor, was dressed in peach taffeta with green accessories. Other attending couples were Edward Kmieciak and Estelle Fijalkiewicz and Alex Slivka and Helen Fijalkiewicz. Little Geraldine Gulcynski, as flower girl, was dressed in pik and carried flowers matching color of the dresses of the bridal party.
After the ceremony a reception was held at the home of the bride’s parents and a wedding dance in the evening at Mileaway Pavilion.
The couple left on Wednesday on a short honeymoon to the Twin Cities. The will reside in Thorp, the groom being employed at the Red Arrow Garage.
