Burzynski, John Sr. (16 MAY 1850 - 27 JUN 1937)
John Burzynski Sr. died at the home of his son, John, on Sunday, June 27, 1937, at 4:30 p.m., of old age. He was born in Poland on May 16, 1850, and had reached the age of 87 years, 1 month and 11 days. He was married to Catherine Nowicki, who preceded him in death 7 years ago. He leaves to mourn, 6 sons, Martin of Woodstock, Ill.; Joseph of Chicago; Frank, George, Walter and John of Thorp; one daughter, Pauline Navarre of Milwaukee; one brother, Andrew of Marinette; 54 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held at St. Mary’s Church at Junction on June 30, Rev. L. Slisz officiating, interment following in the Junction Cemetery. The pallbearers were his grandsons.
Out of town people who attended the funeral were: Mr. and Mrs. Jos. Burzynski and son, Mr. and Mrs. Harry Burzynski, misses Mary and Anna Burzynski, all of Chicago; Mrs. Pauline Navarre and son, Stanley, Leon and Stella Burzynski of Milwaukee; Mr. and Mrs. Peter Klarkowski and son, Mr. and Mrs. St. Klarkowski and children, and Ed Klarkowski., of Green Bay.
