Alice Scheuerman of the Benjamin School won top honors in the Greenwood Community Schools Spelling contest last week and will respsent the rural and state graded schools of the district in the Clark County Spelling Contest at Neillsville March 21st. Shown here are the students that were picked as top spellers in their schools in this local contest, and who competed in the Greenwood Contest:

The Greenwood Spelling Contest was conducted according to rules set up by the County Superintendents’ office and was conducted by Mrs. Elsie Halle, County Supervising Teacher. The winner of the Clark County contest will be eligible to compete in the State Spelling Contest at Madison later.
