Spring Creek Valley - Mrs. Henry Nebel
Mr. and Mrs. William Reisner of Chili and Kenneth Donnabaur were Sunday afternoon visitors and supper guests of Mr. and Mrs. Ludwig Faber and son, Norman.
Mr. and Mrs. Edward Lindow and family and Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Pusheck, and family were Tuesday supper guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Pusheck and family.
Mr. and Mrs. Russell Roehl of Auburndale had their baby baptized Sunday coincidental with the observance of the 35th wedding anniversary of its grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Nebel. The little fellow will go by the name of Elgin Duwane. Mr. and Mrs. Marion Lee were sponsors.
Violet Foemmel spent Saturday at the Wenzel Lee home.
Mrs. Edward Lindow and Mrs. Leland Gerber and Mrs. Anna Mundt called at the Lewis Lindow home Sunday.
Robert Lee called at the Marion Lee home Monday evening.
Lyle Zimmerman of Chili, called at the Marion Lee home on business Friday evening.
Albert Grimm and August Foemmel sawed wood on Friday.
Mrs. Henry Nebel entertained the Fremont Homemaker’s club Thursday. Ten members and 11 visitors were present. Roll call was answered with cookie recipes, and Christmas gifts were exchanged. Contests furnished the entertainment for the afternoon. The next meeting will be held at the home of Mrs. Gregor Wolf, January 15.
Leland Huntley of Monticello spent Monday and Tuesday with Mr. and Mrs. August Foemmel and family.
Mr. and Mrs. Fred Dopp and son, Leland, and Anton Rosandich home, of Granton were Sunday guests of Mr. and Mrs. Ludwig Faber and son Norman.
Mr. and Mrs. George Wolf visited with Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Smidt and son, Jerry, at Neillsville New Year’s day.
Mr. and Mrs. Borris Dickerson of Yolo visited the Ed Lindow family Monday evening.
Mr. and Mrs. Marion Lee and family spent Monday evening with Mr. and Mrs. Lester Lindow and son, David, in West Fremont.
Mr. and Mrs. Albert Grimm called on Mrs. Edward Ott and Mrs. Otto Rush at St. Joseph’s hospital Wednesday.
Mrs. Ezra Schilling and daughters, Betty and Bernice spent Wednesday afternoon with Mrs. Albert Grimm and Miss Anna Grimm.

Mr. and Mrs. Marion Lee and daughter, Connie, and son, Jimmie, visited Mrs. Bertha Schilling and Mr. and Mrs. Ezra Schilling and family recently.
Mrs. Gregor Wolf called on Mrs. Marion Lee Wednesday afternoon.
Mrs. Lewis Lindow and Mrs. Henry Nebel called on Mrs. Otto Rush and Mrs. Edw. Ott at St. Joseph’s Hospital Saturday, and Mr. and Mrs. Albert Grimm visited them Sunday.
Mr. and Mrs. Ezra Schilling and daughters, Betty and Bernice, called at the A. Grimm home Wednesday afternoon.
Anna Grimm and Mr. and Mrs. Albert Grimm visited the Marion Lee family Sunday evening.
