Windfall Corners

Saturday evening the neighbors gave Mr. and Mrs. Louis Novack a farewell party. They are now nicely settled in their new home at Granton.

Mr. and Mrs. Donald Drescher had their [portion blurred] christened [portion blurred] evening at the Fred [portion blurred].

Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Kregjci and family Mrs. Emma Help and sons, Warren and Marvin, Mr. and Mrs. Victor Krejci and daughter, Ruth, and Miss Estelle Krejci of Neenah enjoyed a duck dinner at the George Hales home New Year ’s Day.

Eileen Bergeman returned to Spencer Sunday evening to resume her teaching duties there.

Mr. and Mrs. Fred Bartz and family spent Tuesday evening at the Raymond Nickel home.

Mrs. William Naedler entertained the Willing Workers club Saturday.

Mrs. Victor Krejci and daughter, Ruth, and Emma Trimberger spent Sunday at the Hugo Trimberger home.

Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Nickel and Mr. and Mrs. Louis Helm spent Saturday evening at the Fred Bartz home.

Mr. and Mrs. Gust Ayers and Orrie DeLong spent the New Year day at the home of Mrs. C. B. Dresden in Neillsville, Wis.

Mr. and Mrs. Van Kayser and family were New Year guests at the William Schmidtke home.

Pvt. Donald Drescher has returned to Camp Grant after an eight-day furlough with his wife and baby.

Mr. and Mrs. Price Lee and daughter, Amy, and Mr. and Mrs. Rollie Lee visited at the Frank Dubes home Sunday.

Orrie DeLong and Truman Davis spent Tuesday evening at the Alfred Oldham home.

Grant Bergeman returned to Menomonie Tuesday.

Mr. and Mrs. Frank Dubes, Wilbur *Rest cut off. **
