Wharfield, Aubrey & Helene (Divorce - 25 June 1935)

Helene Wharfield of Marshfield, formerly of Colby, was granted a decree of absolute divorce on her cross complaint from Aubrey Wharfield of Marshfield on grounds of desertion by Judge Frank W. Calkins in county court at Wisconsin Rapids on June 25th, 1935. The couple was married in 1926. She will resume the name of her former deceased husband Bird. Mrs. Warfield was represented by R. S. Goggins of the law firm Goggins, Brazeau & Graves, of Wisconsin Rapids.

Would like to know if this Aubrey Wharfield is the son of Charles B. Wharfield of Marshfield,Wisconsin

Yes, he was the son of Charles Wharfield of Marshfield. Aubrey was born in 1892 in Marshfield according to his World War I draft registration card, and in the 1910 U.S. Federal Census, Marshfield, Wood Co. Wis., he is listed as the son of Charles Wharfield of Marshfield.

Aubrey and my husbands father were first cousins. Charles brother Fred Wharfield was my husbands grandfather. I married Ray Wharfield Jr. Am interested in knowing your connection to this branch of the family if you would care to share. Marguerite
