Eder, Lillian (Marriage - 16 Sept. 1935)
At a nine o’clock ceremony Monday Miss Lillian (Babe) Eder, Madison, became the bride of Mr. James O’Brien, also of Madison. The service was performed at the Blessed Sacrament church with the Rev. Bartholemy officiating. The bride marched up the aisle on the arm of her father.
The bride is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Eder and was attended by Miss Nonoa O’Brien, sister of the groom, as maid of honor, and Miss Vivian Eder, sister of the bride, as bridesmaid. The groom was attended by Floyd Eder, brother of the groom.
The bride was attired in a white lace dress, a long veil and carried an arm bouquet of white roses. The maid of honor wore a blue lace dress with accessories to match and carried a bouquet of pink roses. The bridesmaid wore a beige lace dress with accessories to match and carried a bouquet of tea roses.
The flowere girls, Lillian O’Brien, Audrey Ann Gries and Darlyene Mae Eder were attired in dresses of tea rose, pink, and blue respectively. Adrian Gries, dressed in white, acted as ring bearer. Ernie and Donald Stricker, cousins of the groom, acted as ushers and Ernie O’Brien, brother of the groom, sang hymns during the mass.
Breakfast was served for the bridal party at the O’Brien residence.
