Miss Elsie C. Thorn, daughter of Mrs. Rose Thorn of Colby, Wisconsin became the bride of Kenneth Olstinski, son of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Olstinski, of Marshfield, at 9:00 o’clock Saturday morning, Sept. 21, at the St. Mary’s parsonage at Colby, Rev. Leo J. Lang reading the marriage ceremony. Florence Thorn, sister of the bride, acted as bridesmaid and the groom was attended by Edward Goldback.
The bride was attired in a beautiful dress of olive green with fall hat and brown accessories. The bridesmaid wore a brown dress with hat and accessories in brown.
Following the ceremony, a reception and breakfast was held at the bride’s home in Colby for immediate families and the wedding party after which the newlyweds departed on a trip to Milwaukee and Chicago. After Sept. 26th, they will be at home at 405 S. Maple street, Marshfield.
The past three years, the bride followed her profession of nursing, being a graduate of St. Joseph’s school of nursing, Marshfield, as well as the Colby, Wis. High school.
