Grasel, Marie (Marriage - 7 Oct. 1935)
A very pretty wedding took place at St. Mary’s church at Auburndale Monday morning, October 7, at 8:00 o’clock when Miss Marie Grasel, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Michael Grasel of Auburndale, became the bride of Mr. Roland Brehm of Marshfield, son of Mr. and Mrs. Gust Brehm of Colby. Rev. Joseph Steinhauser performed the ceremony. St. Mary’s choir sang. Delia Grasel, sister of the bride, acted as bridesmaid, and the groom was attended by his brother, Raymond Brehm.
The bride was attired in a beautiful gown of lilac boucle suit with maroon accessories and her corsage bouquet consisted of baby chrysanthemums and rose buds. The bridesmaid wore a dress of royal blue boucle knit with navy accessories.
A wedding dinner and reception was held for immediate relatives and friends at the home of the bride’s parents. The newlyweds will take up their duties as managers of Sterling Fox Ranch, Lake Placid, New York, on October 10th.
