Frank G. Kurtz passed away at his farm home in the town of Hull Saturday morning, Nov. 23, at 2:25 A.M. at the age of seventy-five years and fifteen days, ulcers of the stomach being the cause of his departure to the heavenly goal. Funeral services were held Monday afternoon at 2:00 P.M. at the home and at 2:30 P.M. at the Presbyterian church at Abbotsford, Rev. L. C. Smith officiating, and internment was made in Oakhill cemetery at Neenah, Wis.

The deceased was born Nov. 8th, 1860, at Neenah, Wisconsin, and was married at Neenah, Wisconsin, on August 25th, 1891, to Hattie Hoeper. He spent his boyhood at Weyauwega with his uncle, Martin Kurtz, until he reached the age of nineteen years. Mr. and Mrs. Kurtz lived at Neenah until 1900 when they located in the town of Hull. He is survived by his widow, a daughter, Mrs. Stanley J. Horn of West Point, N.Y., two sisters, Mrs. Nettie Pendelton and Mrs. Edna Hercher, a brother, S. E. Kurtz, all of Neenah, and three grand children.

The deceased was held in high esteem by all who knew him and was honored with public offices on several occasions, having been clerk of the school board at one time and also on the town board. He was a good Christian and always endeavored to perform his duty as he saw it. He filled the various relations of life as son, husband and father and filled them well.
