Tesmer, Bernice (Marriage - 31 Dec. 1935)
(Loveland, Colo., News)
A quiet but impressive wedding took place at the home of Mr. and Mrs. O. B. Melia, New Year’s Eve, at 8 o’clock when Miss Bernice Tesmer of Colby, Wisconsin, became the bride of Claude Tyler of Loveland. Rev. M. F. Amelung, pastor of the English Lutheran church read the ceremony in the presence of close friends of the couple.
Yuletide decorations and red tapers formed the pretty setting for the wedding.
The bride wore a wine-colored chiffon velvet dress, floor length and wore an attractive corsage of chrysanthemums.
Mrs. Tyler is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Tesmer of Colby, Wis., and has been employed until recently when she came to Loveland. Mr. Tyler is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Tyler of Granton, Wis., and a graduate of the Bradley college at Peoria, Ill. He has been employed at the Melia Jewelry store since September.
During the informal reception which followed the ceremony Miss Thelma McNatt played several numbers and attractive refreshments were served.
Mr. and Mrs. Tyler will make their home in Loveland, Colorado.
