Mrs. Hattie Gorsegner of 1211 South Peabody, passed away Friday evening, Aug. 6th, 1937, at 6:30 p.m. after a long illness.

Mrs. Gorsegner, the former Miss Hattie Caroline Stigen, was born at Withee (Clark Co., Wis.), Sept. 20, 1902. She was married to William Gorsegner in 1922. Two boys and one girl were born to this union.

The family came to Port Angeles in 1927. Mr. Gorsegner is widely known here as a general construction contractor.

Mrs. Gorsegner is survived by her husband and two sons, Harvey and Eugene; two sisters, Mrs. John Somer and Mrs. C.A. Porter of Port Angeles, and two brothers, Oscar W. Stigen of Port Angeles, and Frank C. Stigen, Withee, Wis.

Funeral services were held on Tuesday at 2:00 p.m., from the McDonald Funeral Home, the Reverend M.L. Rickman officiating. Burial was at Mount Angeles Cemetery.

Mrs. Gorsegner was a member of the Congregational Church.
