Pollack, Marguerite (5 July 1905 - 19 Nov. 1976)
Colby - Mrs. John (Marguerite) Pollack, 71, Route 1, Colby, died at 4:10 p.m. Friday at her home.
Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at First United Church of Christ at Colby and burial will follow at Colby Memorial Cemetery. The Rev. Kenneth A. Dix will officiate.
The body will lie in state at the Rux-Lulloff Funeral Home beginning at 1 p.m. Sunday.
Mrs. Pollack, nee Fairfield, was born July 5, 1905, at Cavalier, N.D., and was married to John Pollack March 3, 1922 at Ashland. She received her education at Cable.
She and her husband lived on Route 1, Colby, since 1959 and affiliated with United Church of Christ.
The children include Kenneth N. Pollack, Colby; Mrs. Bernard (Jane) Geiger of Colby; Mrs. Harry (Rose) Ludwig of Medford; Mrs. Anthony (Alice) Kittl of Colby, and a foster son, James Kittl, of Colby. There are 18 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren.
Two brothers, Jack Fairfield, San Francisco, Calif., and Lloyd Fairfield, Barstow, Calif., and two sisters, Mrs. Merle Gasink, Sylmar, Calif., and Mrs. Dorothy Harper, Arleta, Calif., also survive. A brother and a sister are deceased.
