Hubing, Anton E. (1 Sept. 1906 - 26 Mar. 1974)
Neillsville - Services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at St. Mary’s Catholic Church for Anton E. Hubing, 67, route 3, Neillsville, who died early Tuesday at Memorial Hospital.
The Rev. Charles D. Brady, pastor, will officiate and burial will follow in the parish cemetery.
Friends may call at the Georgas Funeral Home, where a rosary service will be held at 9:15 p.m. tonight (Wednesday).
Anton E. Hubing was born Sept. 1, 1906, in the Loyal area, and was educated there. He worked at the cheesemaking industry and was a cheesemaker for the Neillsville Milk Products Cooperative here for many years. In 1951, he moved to a farm south of Neillsville, Wis.
Mr. Hubing was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church and its Holy Name Society.
He was married on Oct. 14, 1930, at Middle Ridge, to the former Ethel Mashak, who survives him.
Other survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Larry (Patricia) Langer, Merrillan, Mrs. John (Merylin) Gregorich, Waunakee, and Miss Kathleen Hubing, Madison; three sons, Adrian and John, both of Neillsville, and Delano, LaCrosse; three sisters, Mrs. Lorraine Bauer and Mrs. Beatrice Bauer, both of Loyal, and Mrs. Kenneth (Vinetta) Johnson, Maple Grove, Ill.; a brother, Joseph Hubing, Loyal; and 15 grandchildren.
A brother, Raymond, preceded him in death.
