Starks, Erma (20 NOV 1937)
Miss Erma Starks of this place (Thorp, Clark Co., Wis.), and Clarence Taylor of Wilson, were married at the Methodist Parsonage in Stanley at 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 20, 1937, Rev. Geo. Vaughn officiating. They were attended by Miss Eldrey Starks and Wm. Whity.
The bride and bridesmaid wore dark blue suits with blouse waists and blue accessories. The bride had a corsage of yellow roses and white chrysanthemums. The bridesmaid’s corsage was of pink roses and white chrysanthemums. The groom and attendant wore buttonhole bouquest of white chrysanthemums.
A wedding supper was served at the home of the bride’s mother, Mrs. Sadie Starks, to about 30 near relatives and friends at 4 p.m., after which the newlyweds departed for their new home at Price.
