Mrs. Anne Sivertson Haugen was born in Trondhjem, Norway, Jan. 21, 1870. She passed away at her home Feb. 19, 1938, having been an invalid for the last five years.
She came to America in June 1892 and moved to Menomonie. She was married to John Haugen on Nov. 26, 1896, and in 1908 they came to live in the Stanley country.
She leaves to mourn her loss eight children: Alma, Hilda, Philip, Alvin and Jule at home, Alice of Chicago; Selma of Riplinger, and Gina (Mrs. S.N. Samuelson) of Worden. Three grandchildren and two brothers, John and Ole Sivertson of Worden (Clark Co., Wis.), also survive.
