Heagle, Olive P. (8 MAR 1880 - 21 MAR 1938)

Mrs. John Heagle, 58, died at the home of her brother, Oliver McKee, at Fond du Lac on Monday last. The body was brought here (Thorp, Clark Co., Wis.) and lies in state at the Bogumill Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at the M.E. Church on Friday, March 25th, at two o’clock in the afternoon.

Olive Pearl McKee was born in Cameron, Mo., on March 8, 1880, the twin sister of Oliver Philip McKee, and daughter of Mason and Adelaide McKee.

In 1887 she moved with her parents to Amherst, Wis., where she resided until 1891, when the family moved to Thorp, where, except for short intervals, she has lived since.

She was married to John Heagle July 5th, 1906. Four children were born to them: Lawrence Philip, Muriel Adelaide, Maude Ethel and Eugene Seymour who died in infancy. She was a member of the Baptist Church for many years.

She passed away of heart disease March 21st at the home of Oliver McKee of Fond du Lac, Wis., where she had gone to spend the winter, having reached the age of 58 years and 13 days.

Deceased was preceded in death by her husband, her father and mother and her brother Clarence McKee, of Pittsville, Wis.

Surviving relatives are two daughters, Mrs. Loran Bivans of Thorp; and Mrs. Herbert Lee of Modesto, California; a son, Lawrence Heagle, of Detroit, Mich.; two brothers, Oliver of Fond Du Lac, and Fred of Colby, Wis., and two grandchildren, Phyllis and Laurel Bivans.
