Robert Smith drove to Osseo Monday to get his grandmother, Mrs. Chambers, who has been visiting at the home of her granddaughter, Mrs. Earl Langworthy, Jr.
Mr. and Mrs. H. Nibbe took their son, Alfred to Wisconsin Rapids Sunday to catch a train for Texas, where he is stationed in the army.
Mrs. Jenswold is spending a few days with her mother, Mrs. Wittren at Fairchild.
Mr. and Mrs. Harold Hart and daughter of Wakefield, Mich., spent Sunday with their respective parents, Mr. and Mrs. Harry Hart and Mr. and Mrs. Nelson.
Mr. and Mrs. Roy Fletcher and daughter spent the weekend with relatives in Menomonie Falls.
Mrs. Anna Theiler is a patient in the Krohn Clinic, where she underwent an operation for a tumor Tuesday.
Mrs. Pearl Johnson will be a patient this week at the hospital in Black River Falls.
Russell O’Leary went to see his wife at the Madison Hospital Thursday.
Alvin Bryner and Clarence Hardwich of Milwaukee spent Sunday with their families.
Ted Greene of Milwaukee spent Sunday with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Fletcher Greene.
Hugh Clark of Merrillan called at the Ben Hart home Saturday. Mr. Clark went to Eau Claire to get his son, Allan, who was a patient at the hospital there.
Humbird won two of the three games played at the tournament last week. Each member of the team was presented with silver pin.
Mr. Will Kuberra and daughter, Linda, spent Friday with her sister at Fairchild.
Mr. and Mrs. Arnold Yankee of Neillsville were guests recently at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Pearl Pickett.
The American Legion auxiliary will meet at the home of Mrs. Lottie Flynn March 9, in the afternoon.
Lawrence and Paulene Davis were ill last week.
Mrs. Mae Hahn held the highest bid on the H. Stallard house. *Rest cut off. *
