A very pretty wedding took place on Wednesday, April 20th, 1938, at 4 o’clock in the afternoon at St. Veronica’s Catholic Church in Chicago, when Miss Lucille Brenner of Thorp (Clark Co., Wis.), became the bride of Mr. John Krupa, also of Thorp.
The bride was attended by her sister, Mrs. Al Jelke of Chicago, as matron of honor, and Miss Anita Kastel of Chippewa Falls, Wis., as bridesmaid. The groom was attended by Mr. Joe Jujcik of Thorp, as best man. The bride was given away by her brother-in-law, Al Jelke, of Chicago.
The bride was attired in a white satin and lace dress with a train and wore a beautiful net veil with lace. She carried a lovely bouquet of white roses and snapdragons.
The matron of honor was dressed in pink chiffon and carried a colonial bouquet of spring flowers. She wore a headband of pink rose buds.
The bridesmaid wore blue chiffon and carried a colonial bouquet of spring flowers. She was a headband of rose buds.
The reception was held at the home of the bride’s sister, Mrs. A. Jelke, where a host of friends and relatives met and wished the happy bride and groom a long life of happiness and good luck.
