The marriage of Miss Magdaline Fillipeck to Mr. Paul Tomkowiak took place in St. Hedwig’s Church on Saturday, May 28th, 1938 at nine o’clock, Father Kulig officiating.
The bride wore a white satin gown with a cap style veil. She carried a shower bouquet of white roses and sweet peas. The maid of honor and bridesmaids wore pink, peach and blue dresses and carried a bouquet of pink and white roses.
The reception was held at the home of the groom, with dancing in the afternoon and evening. A free wedding dance was also given at the Kit-Kat on the following Wednesday.
The out of town guests were Mr. and Mrs. John Wargolet and children, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Mamayek and Mrs. Frank Wargolet, Milwaukee; Mrs. Lucy Manczak of Chicago; Mr. and Mrs. Edward Sniegowski of Stratford, and Mr. and Mrs. Kasmere Kmieciak and family of Stanley.
