Sharnek, Matilda (2 JUL 1938)
Miss Matilda Sharnek, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Sharnek of Laona, and Loren L. Misfeldt oldest son of Mr. and Mrs. John Misfeldt of the town of Worden (Clark Co., Wis.), were married at the parsonage of St. Ambrose Church at Wabeno, Wis., on Saturday, July 2, 1938, at 7:30 a.m. By. Rev. Frank Francart. They were attended by Miss Angie Sharnek, of Laona, sister of the bride and Frank Tallier of Wabeno. A wedding breakfast was served at the home of the bride’s parents.
The bride is well known in this immediate vicinity, having been a frequent visitor here.
The groom is a former Thorp boy, having graduated from the Thorp High School with the class of 1930. He has been in a CCC camp for four years and has been a Sergeant and Senior Foreman in Camp Cavour at Laona the past two years, which position he still holds.
They will make their home at Laona.
