A very beautiful wedding took place at ten o’clock Saturday morning, June 25, 1938, at St. Hedwig’s Church when Father F.A. Kulig joined in wedlock Anton Zukowski, son of Mr. john Zukowski, and Miss Stella Tylka, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Arczycewski.
The bride’s gown was of white chiffon with a train and braid around the neck, a tiara which held the veil with a blusher attached. She carried a bouquet of white roses and carnations and lilies.
Leo Tylka was best man and Miss Veronica Zukowski, who wore a new English lavender marquisette dress and wore a blusher with tea rose rosettes and carried a bouquet of roses, carnations and lilies. The bride was given away by her brother, Leo Tylka. The groom and his attendants wore tuxedos.
The maid of honor, Miss Julia Arczycewski, wore a tea rose marquisette dress with a bolero to match and a blusher of tea rose with tea rose rosettes and carried a bouquet of roses, carnations and lilies.
The other attendants were Felix Zukowski, Gertrude Arczycewski. Adolph Tylka and Clara Zukowski.
Both maids wore dresses of New English lavender marquisette, with tea rose blushers and tea rose rosettes and carried bouquets of roses, carnations and lilies.
A reception was held for the couple at the home of the bride’s parents after the ceremony.
The newlyweds will reside in Chicago, where the groom is employed.
Their many friends join in best wishes for a happy and prosperous wedded life.
