Paczkowski, Martin (7 NOV 1865 - 25 JUL 1938)
Funeral rites for Martin Paczkowski, 72, who passed away Monday morning, July 25th, 1938, were conducted by Rev. F.A. Kulig, at St. Hedwig’s Church on Thursday morning last, the remains being laid to rest in the parish cemetery.
The deceased was born in Poland on Nov. 7, 1865. At the age of twenty-three years he came to America and located in Pennsylvania. He was united in marriage to Frances Gronek at Philadelphia on Oct. 13, 1891. They resided there for about ten years before coming to Withee (Clark Co., Wis.), and locating on a farm in the town of Hixon, which has been the home of the deceased for the past thirty-five years.
Surviving relatives are his widow, Mrs. Frances Paczkowski, four sons, Joseph and Edward of Withee, John of Thorp, and Leon of Chicago, four daughters, Mrs. Felix (Anna) Prokopinski of Thorp, Mrs. Martha Pawlak, Withee, Mrs. Anthony (Helen) Ryktarsyk, Detroit, and Mrs. Ted (Sophie) Kisiel, Detroit, one brother in Poland and one brother and two sisters in Pennsylvania, and seven grandchildren.
Pallbearers were: John Koperski, Stanley Mikrut, Paul Marek, Anton Pawlak, August Wegner and Walter Milewski.
