Cozy Corner - by Mrs. Herman Roehl
Erwin Gilbertson spent Thursday evening with his uncle, Herman Roehl, and family.
Arthur Jennings, Gordon Miller, Carmen Schimdtke, Naomi Hayden and Ruby Nelson were the eighth graders, and Darlene Miller and Mary Jennings the sixth graders who wrote their tests at Chili Friday afternoon. Lorna Lindow had dental work done in Neillsville Saturday afternoon.
Silas Foemmel went to Sheboygan Saturday to get his brother, Paul, who will help on the farm this summer.
Mr. and Mrs. Albert Lindow and Lorna called Sunday on Mrs. Charles Lindow, who is sick with pneumonia.
Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Roehl and son, Raymond, from Loyal were dinner guests at the Herman Roehl home.
Geneva Lindow is absent from school on account of the mumps.
Frank Hienzen moved from Marshfield onto the farm that Ernest Gehrke vacated.
Most farmers have finished seeding. We are having an early spring; but no rain to start the grass in pastures.
