Rose, Mary (Marriage - 27 May 1942)

On Wednesday evening, May 27, Miss Mary Rose, daughter of Earl Rose, and Norman H. Hunstock, son of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Hunstock, of Homewood, Ill., were quietly married at the home of the groom, the Rev. H. F. Meyer performing the ceremony.

The bride wore a bridal gown of white starched chiffon and a finger-tip veil. Her bouquet was made up of white roses and sweet peas. Her attendant, Mrs. Donald Collette, a friend of the couple, wore pink starched chiffon and carried pink roses. Mr. Hunstock was attended by his brother, Irvin.

A wedding supper and reception also were held at the groom’s home for the immediate families of the couple.

The bride completed her high school course in Neillsville in 1941. Since November of last year she has been employed in Chicago and Blue Island.

The groom was graduated in 1938 from Bloom Township high school in Chicago Heights. He is employed by the Twistmeier Dairy in Homewood.

The couple are honeymooning at Hatfield and will be at home at 2021 Elm Road, Homewood, Ill., after June 1st.
