Sandley, Harold D. (23 JUL 1934 - 26 JUL 2007)

Harold D. Sandley, 73, Marshfield, died on Thursday, July 26, 2007, at the House of The Dove under the care of Ministry Home Care Services. Funeral services were held at 11:30 a.m., on Tuesday, July 31, at Rembs/Kundinger Funeral Home. The Rev. Mara Pehkonen, pastor of United Methodist Church, Spencer, officiated.

Harold D. Sandley was born on July 23, 1934, in Cadott, to Frank and Millie (nee DeVoe) Sandley. He married Dolores Strade on May 7, 1955, and later divorced. He worked for more than 30 years at Weyerhaeuser Company, Marshfield, vefore retiring. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, traveling and tinkering with cars.

Survivors include one son, Dale (Betty) Sandely, Sheboygan Falls; two daughters, Debra (Mark Kaiser) Griepentrog, Spencer, and Dori (Mark) Fuehrer, Marshfield: seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; one brother, Victor (Carol ) Sandley, Spencer; two sisters, Marge Watzke, Waunakee, and Gloria McKellar, Granton.

Preceding him in death were his parents; one sister, Chaelotte Konerik; and three brothers, LaVern, Ted, and O’Dell Sandley.

Memorials may be given in his name to House of The Dove, Hospice Home, 613 Western St., Marshfield, WI 54449.
