Mona Darge, 42, Spencer, died Friday, July 27, 2007, in Marshfield at a private residence. Visitation will be at the Community Funeral Home, Spencer, on Wednesday, Aug. 1, from 4-8 p.m., and again on Thursday, Aug. 2, one hour prior to services at 1 p.m., at St. John’s Lutheran Church, North Spencer. The Rev. Peter Ruggles will officiate. Burial will be in West Spencer Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Eric Kerksieck, Erin and Eric Strey, Dan Elpert, Travis and Jason Treankler, Lance Coppadge, John Seagren and Jason Garbisch.

Mona Darge was born on Dec. 12, 1964, in Stanley, to William and Pearl (nee Ritter) Darge. She married Allen Ress in 1983 and later divorced. She worked as a waitress. She liked spending time with family and friends, playing cards, fishing, shooting pool and darts.

Survivors include her mother, Pearl Darge, Spencer; a son James (friend Tracy) Ress, Afghanistan; a daughter, Jennifer (Chad) Domine. Avondale, Ariz.; a grandson, Caleb Ress; one brother, Jeff (Tammy) Darge, Hixton; five sisters, Tammy (Gary) Cook, Greenwood, , Vicky (Dwight) Treankler Jr., Abbotsford, Billee (Rodney) Kerksieck, Spencer, Connie (Jon) Strey, Spencer, and Paula (Todd) Krasselt, Loyal.
