Stutte, Frederick A. (15 Mar. 1868 - 17 July 1962)

Loyal - Frederick A. Stutte, 94, Loyal, died at 3 o’clock this morning at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Marshfield where he had been a patient for the past week.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church. The Rev. Norbert E. King will officiate and burial will be made in the parish cemetery.

Friends may call at the Myre Funeral Home beginning Wednesday evening. A general rosary service will be held there at 8 p.m. Thursday.

Mr. Stutte was born March 15, 1868, at Eagle. He was married at St. Mary’s Ridge on June 13, 1899, to Annie M. Degenhardt. After their marriage they lived on a farm near Norwalk until March of 1909 when they moved to a farm south of Loyal. In 1937 the couple moved to the city where they have since resided. Mr. Stutte was a member of St. Anthony’s Catholic Church and its Holy Name Society.

He is survived by his wife, three daughters, Mrs. Ben (Clara) Clouse, and Mrs. Alex (Hilda) Loos, Loyal, and Miss Laura M. Stutte, Chicago, Ill.; a son, Hugo, Loyal; eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren and a brother, Joseph Stutte, Eagle.

Two brothers and a sister preceded him in death.
