Degenhardt, Joyce M. (15 July 1932 - 19 July 1987)
Curtiss - Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Curtiss, for Joyce M. Degenhardt, 55, Route 1, Curtiss, who died at 10:55 p.m. Sunday at St. Joseph’s Hospital.
The Revs. Loren and Linda Schumacher will officiate and burial will be in Pine Hill Cemetery, Curtiss, Wis.
Pallbearers will be Elden Viets, Lester Krueger, Steve and Paul Laabs, Robert Tripp and James Jakel.
Visitation will be after 4 p.m. today at the Maurina Funeral Home, Abbotsford, Wis.
She was born July 15, 1932, in Unity, to Albert and Beatrice Matson and attended schools there.
She was married to Norbert Degenhardt Oct. 1, 1949, in Colby. He survives. They lived in Austin, Minn., until 1968, when they moved to rural Curtiss, where they operated the Look Out Bar. She also worked as a babysitter.
She was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church.
Surviving, besides her husband are a daughter, Dawn Marie Tripp of Curtiss; three sons, Norbert Jr. of Rochester, Minn., Terry of Sussex, and Darrell of Abbotsford; two sisters, Mrs. Stanley (Norma) Zadlo of Grove, Okla., and Kenneth (Sharon) Laube of Colby; a brother, Harvey Matson of Unity; and five grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her parents.
