Jessica was born April 18, 1983, in Marshfield, the daughter of Clay and Margie (Degenhardt) Delo. She was raised and educated in Loyal, graduating from Loyal High School in 2001. Jessica was attending the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater, majoring in political science with the intention of becoming a lobbyist for children’s rights. Jessica had many interests, including computer research, traveling, political discussions, shopping and all kinds of music, but especially Reba McEntire.

Jessica touched countless lives with her grace, beauty and charm. All who were fortunate enough to know her loved her. She was courageous, considerate, intelligent and profound. This delicate flower, taken from us before full bloom, will be missed beyond words. She was her mother’s breath and the very beat of her father’s heart. She was beauty.

Jessica is survived by her loving parents, Clay and Margie Delo of Loyal; her sister, Stacey, and her brother, Justin "Bubba," both at home; special family members, Tammy Seefeld of Curtiss, Michael Delo of Unity, and Jim Nayes of Curtiss; paternal grandparents, Merlin and Nancy Delo of Loyal; aunts, uncles, other relatives and many friends.

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Roman and Nancy Degenhardt; two aunts, Doris and Cheryl Delo and one uncle, Rick Delo.
