Searvogel, Nellie (2 Mar. 1901 - 17 Nov. 1960)
Loyal - A former Loyal resident, Mrs. Edward Searvogel, 59, who had been making her home at 2211 S. Maple Ave., Marshfield, for the past four years, died at 11 a.m. Thursday at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Marshfield.
Funeral services will be held Monday morning at 10 o’clock at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church here with the Rev. Norbert King officiating. Burial will be made in the parish cemetery.
Friends may call at the Myre Funeral Home beginning Saturday evening. At 8 p.m. Sunday a general rosary will be held.
The former Nellie Ryan was born at Randolph March 2, 1901. She came to Loyal with her parents in 1918. Her marriage to Edward Searvogel took place June 18, 1930 at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church here and they made their home in Loyal until they moved to Marshfield four years ago. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Marshfield and its Altar Society.
Survivors include her husband; a daughter, Mrs. Jane Kayhart of Milwaukee; six sisters, Mrs. Anton (Grace) Klimmer, Mrs. Henry (LaVerne) Degenhardt and Miss Gladys Ryan, all of Loyal; Mrs. Art (Margaret) Searvogel, Randolph, Mrs. Wilder (Isabel) Kennow and Mrs. Bernard (Rosetta) Beaver, Marshfield; five brothers, James Ryan, Randolph, Charles Ryan, Wauconda, Ill., William Ryan, Cudahy, Henry and Lawrence Ryan, Loyal; and one grandchild.
