Baer, F. Joseph #2 (3 Mar. 1879 - 29 June 1936)
Mrs. F. J. Baer of Neillsville found the body of her husband hanging from a rafter in the garage of their home when she returned from a card party Monday night. Baer, age fifty-six, had been worried over financial reverses, poor health and over the illness of an only daughter. Baer was affiliated with the Clark County Journal which was organized last October. At one time he was publisher of the Granton Herald.
