Braithwaite, Edith (Marriage - 16 Sept. 1936)

A pretty wedding took place at the Green Grove Ev. Lutheran parsonage Wednesday, September 16th, Rev. M. C. Goetsch reading the marriage ceremony, when Miss Edith Braithwaite, daughter of Mrs. Ida Mitchell of Minneapolis, Minn., became the bride of Mr. Hugo Krueger. Miss Helen Kobs acted as bridesmaid and the groom was attended by Mr. Melvin Krueger.

The bride was attired in a beautiful gown of navy blue crepe and her bouquet consisted of mixed flowers. The bridesmaid wore a dress of brown crepe and her bouquet also consisted of mixed flowers.

A reception was held at the home of the groom’s brother and sister-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Krueger, covers being laid for twelve. The home was nicely decorated with pink and white streamers for the occasion.

The newlyweds will be at home on the groom’s farm at Curtiss, Wis.
