Hoppen, Cora Marie (15 Feb. 1888 - 14 Jan. 1937)
Funeral services for Mrs. Wm. P. Hoppen, who died at the Oak Park hospital, Oak Park, Ill., on Thursday morning, January 14th, were held at the A. X. Umhoefer home in Colby Saturday morning, January 16th, Rev. C. Paul Nulton officiating, and internment was made in the Hoppen lot in the Colby cemetery. Pall bearers were Wm. Roth, O. W. Sturner, Emil Pokallus, Frank Sill, Hugo Krepsky and John Pribnow, Sr. The deceased, whose maiden name was Cora Marie Gielle, was born in Ashland, and was married to Wm. P. Hoppen, who was born in Colby and grew to manhood here, in 1910. Surviving are her husband, one son, Claude, and two daughters, Lial and Gladys.
