Buss, Mildred (25 AUG 1937)
Wednesday, Aug. 25, 1937, at two o’clock in the afternoon, Miss Mildred Buss, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Buss of Withee (Clark Co., Wis.) was given in marriage by her father, to Leon De Leske of Thorp. The service was held in the Lutheran Parsonage at Thorp, with Rev. F.H. Sprengler officiating.
The bride wore a floor length gown of white satin, silver slippers, a corsage of pink talisman roses and swansonia, and a white gardenia in her hair. She was attended by Miss Veryl Buss, who wore a floor length green net gown, silver slippers, and a corsage of pink talisman roses and swansonia, with a white gardenia in her hair.
The groom was dressed in a dark blue suit and wore a red rose boutonnière.
The bride is a graduate of the Colby public schools and the groom was graduated from the Reseburg District School.
After the service a reception for immediate friends was held at the home of the bride. For the present the young couple will make their home with the bride’s parents.
