Bergstrom, Harvey W. (28 MAR 1905 - 28 SEP 1937)

Harvey William Bergstrom passed away at Stevens Point on Tuesday, Sept. 28, 1937, following a cerebral hemorrhage the previous Saturday night.

He was born March 28, 1905, at Withee (Clark Co., Wis.), and was graduated from the Withee High School in 1923. He attended the University of Wisconsin in 1924 and the University of Minnesota in 1925, following which he was employed by the Bake-Rite Baking Co. of Stevens Point for the past eight years and at the time of his death he was route manager for the company. He was married to Miss Ethel Madsen on June 6, 1931.

Besides his wife and a daughter, Beverly Joan, age 5, he leaves to mourn, his mother, Mrs. Fred Miller of Withee; two sisters, Mrs. Charles Purgett of Stevens Point and Mrs. Ellsworth Shock of Neillsville; and a brother, Edward Bergstrom of Minneapolis.

Funeral services were conducted at the Boston Funeral Home at Stevens Point, Rev. Schwemmer of the Peace Evangelical Lutheran Church and the Odd fellows of Stevens Point officiated. Burial took place in Forest Cemetery at Stevens Point. Many relatives and friends from St. Louis, Mo., Chicago, Ill., Minneapolis and Meadowlands, Minn., Green Bay, Neillsville, and Withee attended the services.
