Per a pencil-sketched genealogy attributed to Mary Louise Robertson
of Portland, Maine, my Grandmother Dorothy was born in 1908, not
1911. Also, Grandfather Jim's given name was 'Jan', not 'John,' per
his own history of his parents, Paul and Antonina Harycki, composed
in Weslaco, Texas, in 1983. This last is interesting, as my mother,
Tasia Young (Mary Antonia Harycki), refers to him as 'John Jacob'
in her own family history, written in April of 1954. Of course,
John is a common Americanism of Jan, the more common Eastern
European moniker.
