Fox, Mary (Marriage - 6 July 1942)

Miss Mary Fox, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. Fox, Detroit, became the bride of Bernard Eibergen, son of Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Eibergen, Granton, on Monday, July 6, in a ceremony performed at St. Gregory’s Church, Detroit.

The bride wore a gown of white silk marquisette, with a shoulder length veil. She carried a white satin prayer book and gardenias. Miss Lorraine Fox, sister of the bride, who was the bridesmaid, wore yellow organdy and carried a bouquet of yellow roses and delphinium. Robert Fox, brother of the bride, was best man.

Following the ceremony, a breakfast was served at Dearbron Inn, with a reception at the home of the bride’s parents in the evening.

The bride attended St. Gregory’s school in Detroit and is a graduate of St. Camellia’s School of Nursing, Kalamazoo, Mich.

Mr. Eibergen attended Granton public School and prior to his induction into the army was employed at the offices of Drs. Jackson, Hildredth and Volderhauer, in Klamazoo. He is now at Fort Cluster, Mich.

Mr. and Mrs. Eibergen are spending several days at the Arthur Eibergen home.
