Steinwand, Mary L. (Marriage - 31 May 1937)

A very pretty and interesting wedding took place at St. Mary’s Catholic church Monday morning at 6:00 A.M. when Miss Mary L. Steinwand, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. F. Steinwand, became the bride of Mr. Walter O. Mueller, son of Mr. and Mrs. August Mueller. The ceremony was performed by Rev. L. J. Lang and the young couple was attended by Miss Norma Roth and Dr. E. J. Schmidt.

The bride was attired in a beautiful dress of tea rose crepe with white hat and white shoes and her shoulder bouquet consisted of tea roses and lilies of the valley. Miss Roth wore a dress of thistle crepe and her shoulder bouquet was similar to the bride’s.

Immediately after the wedding ceremony, a wedding breakfast was served the bridal party at the home of the bride’s parents after which the newlyweds left on a wedding trip to Rock Island, Ill. They will be at home at Colby, Wis., after June 10th.

Friday evening, a free wedding dance will be given at Wiedenhoeft’s park.
