Eldon D. Harris, 89, of 308 Cherry St., Stetsonville, died Thursday, Sept. 13, 2007, at Colonial Center Nursing Home, *Colby.
The funeral service is at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 18, at First Baptist Church, Medford. Visitations are 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday at Hemer Funeral Home, Medford, and at noon until service time at the church.

Eldon Harris
Eldon D. Harris, 89, of 308 Cherry St., Stetsonville, died Thursday, Sept. 13, 2007, at Colonial Center Nursing Home, Colby.

Eldon was born July 10, 1918, in La Farge to Chauncey Henry and Anna Buela (Martin) Harris. He married Veria M. Dahl on Jan. 25, 1941, and she died Aug. 27, 2001.
He managed the Co-op Transport in Stetsonville from 1960 to 1981 when he retired.
He is survived by three daughters, Judy (George) Hansen of Medford, Joyce (Ray) Piller of Stetsonville and Julie (Dennis) Nofsinger of Medford; three sons, Richard (Gloria) Harris of Stetsonville, Daniel (Roxanne) Harris of Belvedere, Ill., and Gary (Karen) Harris of Stetsonville; two sisters, Ruth Miller of Florida and Nila Healy of Massachusettes, and one brother, Bufford Harris of Florida. He is further survived by 19 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren.
