Mengel, Ethel (Marriage - 22 Sept. 1937)

A quiet but interesting wedding took place at Neillsville Wednesday, September 22, when Miss Ethel Mengel, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ervin Mengel, and Frank Krueger, Jr., of Colby, son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Krueger of Tomahawk, exchanged marriage vows. Justice Dudley read the marriage service. Alvira Mengel, sister of the bride, acted as bridesmaid and the groom was attended by Floyd Hilt.

The bride was attired in a dress of navy blue silk crepe and the bridesmaid wore a similar gown. A wedding supper for relatives and friends was held at the groom’s farm home in the town of Colby where the couple will make their home.
